HVAC Services in Auburn, GA
Auburn, GA is a core market for Southeast Heating & Cooling. Honest repair-or-replace answers, free replacement estimates. Call (770) 265-8308.
Yes, Southeast Heating & Cooling repairs, replaces and maintains heating and air conditioning systems in Auburn, GA. Auburn is one of our core markets, served from our Buford office by the same team that covers the rest of our core service area.
Is Auburn inside Southeast's regular service area?
It is. Our approved markets are tiered, and Auburn is a core market for us. That's different from our edge markets, which we take job by job. For an Auburn homeowner it means a normal booking: you call or book online, the office confirms by call or text, and the visit is scheduled with the same priority as anywhere else in our core area.
Two things we won't claim: an Auburn office (our only location is our Buford office at 4582 Atwater Ct STE 8, Buford, GA 30518) and same-day arrival. We try to answer calls 24/7 and aim to respond within 24 hours, but arrival depends on demand, weather and the problem. You can see the full list of markets on our service areas page.
What HVAC problems do we fix in Auburn homes?
The whole residential list, on all major brands: central air conditioners, gas furnaces, heat pumps with electric heat strips, ductless mini-splits, thermostats and zoning. Typical calls:
- The AC runs but the house won't cool, or the outdoor unit hums and won't start. See AC repair.
- The furnace clicks and doesn't light, blows cool air, or shuts off after a few minutes. See heating repair, which also covers heat pumps and heat strips.
- Water around the indoor unit, a tripped breaker, a thermostat error, or one room that never matches the rest.
- Anything else that changed. Our HVAC repair page walks through symptoms by system type.
We don't work on window units, geothermal systems, boilers, oil furnaces, mobile-home equipment or commercial units. That isn't a service we currently offer, and we don't want to waste your time by pretending otherwise.
What happens when an Auburn homeowner books a repair?
- You reach us. Call or text (770) 265-8308 or book online. Tell us the symptom and whether the system is completely down.
- The office confirms. A request isn't final until we call or text to confirm the window.
- The $79 diagnostic. Our technician finds the actual cause, not the first thing that looks wrong. The fee is typically charged.
- A quote before work. We show you the failed part, explain the fix in plain language, and quote the repair. Nothing starts until you approve it.
- Repair and test. We complete the repair and run the system to confirm it's operating correctly before we leave.
Non-member after-hours charges vary and are confirmed before we dispatch. Family Plan members don't pay one and get priority scheduling. Curious what the visit actually includes? Read what the $79 diagnostic covers.
Repair or replace: how do we decide, and will you pressure me?
No pressure, and no age rule. We look at the repair cost and whether it restores reliable operation, how well the system was installed, its overall condition, what's likely to fail next, warranty and parts availability, comfort, humidity, airflow and efficiency concerns, whether it's sized correctly for the ductwork, and your plans for the home. A newer system installed poorly can still be a replacement candidate; a well-installed older one may deserve the repair. Either way, you'll hear the reasoning, not just the recommendation.
When replacement is the right call, the in-home estimate is free. We perform a Manual J load calculation, the industry method for sizing the system to the home, and put three tiers in writing: single-stage with a 1-year Southeast labor warranty, two-stage with a 3-year labor warranty, and Daikin Fit variable-speed with a 5-year labor warranty. Manufacturer parts and unit-replacement coverage on qualifying equipment is subject to Daikin's terms. Daikin is our primary brand, we're a Daikin Premier Dealer, and every new Daikin system we install uses R-32. We pull required permits, include removal and disposal of the old equipment, and register the manufacturer warranty. Details are on our HVAC replacement page.
How do Auburn homeowners keep a system from failing in the first place?
Two ways. The $49 seasonal tune-up (AC or heating, by season) is a promotional single visit while it's active. The Southeast Family Plan is the ongoing version: $149 a year for the first system and $109 for each additional system, with two visits a year, standard 1-inch pleated filter changes, condensate drain and condenser-coil cleaning, electrical, refrigerant and heating safety checks, 15% off qualifying repairs, priority service and no after-hours charge. It transfers to a new homeowner. More than 1,000 homeowners are members. Compare both on our maintenance page.
What does it cost, and why call Southeast?
We don't publish repair or system prices, because every home and every failure is different. Published numbers: $79 diagnostic, $49 seasonal tune-up, free replacement estimate, and up to $1,000 off a new system (some restrictions may apply). Financing is through Service Finance: 18 months at 0% interest, 12 months with no payments and no interest, or 180 months at 9.99%, with payment examples from $59/month for heating, $69/month for AC and $99/month for a complete system, with credit approval; see financing terms.
